Thought For The Week
February 3, 2008 -

1 Cast your bread on the surface of the waters, for you will find it after many days. 2 Divide your portion to seven, or even to eight, for you do not know what misfortune may occur on the earth. 3 If the clouds are full, they pour out rain upon the earth; and whether a tree falls toward the south or toward the north, wherever the tree falls, there it lies . 4 He who watches the wind will not sow and he who looks at the clouds will not reap. 5 Just as you do not know the path of the wind and how bones are formed in the womb of the pregnant woman, so you do not know the activity of God who makes all things.

Eccl 11:1-5 (NASB)

Celebrate Recovery

Celebrate Recovery will be starting next Sunday night and we are very excited about it.  It deals with a number of problems, addictions, and distractions we face as believers in a dark world.  Celebrate Recovery is for anyone with any issue that keeps them from growing Spiritually in Christ.  We will kick this off at 6pm in the social hall this coming Sunday Feb 10th, I hope we see you there.  Child care will be provided.

Upward

Upward Basketball and Cheerleading is in full swing.  If you haven't seen a game yet, make the time to get out on a Saturday and watch these kids.......time is running out!  This Saturday is the halfway point.  March 1st is our last game, so plan now to get out and become a part of this wonderful ministry.  The games run from 9am until 5pm, with a new game starting every hour on the hour.  See you there!

Group Pump

How is the New Years resolution going?  Are you with the other 80% of the population who wanted to drop some pounds?  We have the solution if you are struggling with this......Group Pump.  Yes you will sweat, yes you will hurt, and yes you will see results.  The women who teach this are a bit crazy and they will push you, but do allow you to choose the level you want.  They always give you at least 3 different levels with each exercise.  So come on out.  On Mondays we hit it at 5:30am and on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:15am or 9:15am.  The cost is $40.00 and it will run through April.

Mission

FBC Belton exists to lead unbelievers and believers to have a growing relationship with God through faith in Jesus Christ. We do this best as we are faithful to our God given mission of :
Exalting God (Worship)
Developing Believers (Discipleship)
Nurturing Family (Fellowship)
Serving One Another (Ministry)
Sharing the Good News (Evangelism)

Vision

The vision of FBC Belton is to worship God as servants to family, community, and world expressed by personal commitment, as a body of Christ, actively participating in missions, and offering our time, talents, tithes, and love to glorify God.
