WMU Group meetings begin this month.  We encourage all ladies to join a group and become a part of our mission action and education.

Group leaders this year are:

Joyce Malone for Group 5 (meets on 2^nd Monday of each month at 12 noon)

Helen Hanley for Group 6 (meets on 2^nd Monday of each month at 7 p.m.)

Ruth King for Group 8 (meets on first Monday of each month at 2:30 p.m.). 

You may call either of these ladies for information on their meetings and activities

WMU is still active in our church!  The theme for this year is “Unhindered.”  Through Women’s Missionary Union we learn about and put into practice mission action.  We have four WMU Groups for our ladies.  These groups meet once monthly and participate in Bible Study and Mission Action.

We also have GA groups and Mission Friends groups, which meet on Wednesday evenings.  These children learn about missions and have been very active in doing missions.  Their leaders are doing a great job with this emphasis.

WMU is the leadership group which promotes our Foreign Missions, Home Missions and State Missions emphasis.  You are reminded during those special emphasis times how our missionaries depend on our prayers and financial support.

WMU also emphasizes missions right here in Belton.  The idea is to go outside our walls and teach and preach Jesus to everyone. That is what Christ instructed us to do. “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.  And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”   Matthew 28:19
