Dale began his church ministry in 1976 serving as Minister of Youth and Activities for two years at City View First Baptist Church in Greenville, S.C.  After seminary, he returned to City View First Baptist in 1981 to serve as Minister of Education and Outreach for another two years. In 1983, he was called as Pastor at Pine Grove Baptist Church No. 1 in Walterboro, S. C.  Dale and his family moved to Union, S.C. in 1990 when he was asked to serve as Pastor of the Mon-Aetna Baptist Church.  In 1997, he became Pastor at the First Baptist Church of Belton.  His ministry at our church consistantly refects his pastoral heart with a deep desire to lead people to become responsible followers of Jesus Christ. 
He is a graduate of Anderson College with an Associate of Arts in Religion. Dale received his Bachelor of Arts in Religion from Furman University.  His Master of Divinity was earned at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.  Having served churches in the Low Country and Upstate of South Carolina, Dale has enjoyed his involvement in several Baptist Associations and with the South Carolina Baptist Convention.  He has served on the Executive Committee of the state convention and is presenly serving his second term on the Board of Trustees for the S. C. Baptist Ministries for the Aging.

Dale and his wife, Harrianne are natives of South Carolina. They are the parents of two grown sons, Berry and Adam.
