Robert Beaver, our Minister of Music, Media and Senior Adults since April, 2005, is a native of Gulfport, Mississippi. He is a graduate of William Carey College and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He was ordained by the First Baptist Church of Honea Path, SC.
Robert has served churches in the upstate of South Carolina since 1983, serving in music, children, youth, adult, senior adult and associate pastoral positions. He has experience with worship leadership, choirs, instrumental groups, ensembles, and handbells for all ages, from children through senior adults. Robert  has a devoted heart in the pastoral care ministries for individuals and their families.
Robert's desire is to lead people into growing relationships with Christ while experiencing the heart-felt worship of our Lord.  He strives to build up the body the body of Christ through discipleship, worship, fellowship, love and encouragement, while involving all age groups in various ministry and mission opportunities within the church and community.
Robert and his wife, Jane, a native of Belton, South Carolina, have four sons and three daughters-in-laws: Jeb Hunter of Simpsonville, Benjamin and Tiffany Beaver of Columbia, Clay and Katie Hunter of Charleston, and  Luke and Eileen Beaver of Columbia.
